Terms of service

LiveCal is in early access. By using any part of LiveCal you agree to the terms below. They’re intentionally brief and plain-spoken.

What these terms cover

LiveCal is a suite of calendar-linked tools — live event trackers, forecasting trackers, booking pages, and embeddable calendar widgets. The About page explains what each one does; these terms apply to all of them, whichever you use. Some features are still being built and may change or be removed during early access.

Your responsibilities

• Use LiveCal for lawful purposes. Don’t use it to harass, defraud, spam, or surveil anyone.
• Don’t bypass authentication, scrape the service at high volume, overload it, or reverse-engineer our APIs without permission.
• You’re responsible for what you connect and where you publish. If you point LiveCal at a shared calendar, or embed a widget on a public site, the information shown there is visible to whoever can see it — so only expose availability you’re comfortable sharing.
• Keep your account secure, and make sure you have the right to share any calendar you connect.

Our responsibilities

• We only act on what you ask for — we write events you’ve chosen to track, and we don’t act on your calendar on our own initiative.
• When you stop tracking an item, take down a booking page, or remove a widget, we stop the related activity.
• If you revoke our Google access, we stop reaching your calendar immediately.
• We’ll tell you about material changes to these terms or the privacy policy before they take effect.

Accuracy of the data we show

LiveCal pulls live facts from public sources and uses AI models to turn them into events, conditions, and schedules. Despite our best efforts, details — times, locations, prices, gate numbers, forecasts, availability — can be wrong or out of date. Verify anything high-stakes (flights, financial events, medical appointments, meetings you can’t miss) against the original authoritative source before relying on it. LiveCal is provided “as is” and “as available” — without warranties of accuracy or of uninterrupted, error-free service.

Third-party services

LiveCal works with services we don’t control — most importantly Google Calendar, plus the public sources we pull data from. Your use of Google is also governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We’re not responsible for outages, changes, or errors in those third-party services, and a change on their side may affect how LiveCal works.

Your content

The trackers, booking pages, and settings you create stay yours. You give us permission to host and display them as needed to run the features you’ve turned on. We don’t claim ownership of your content or sell it.

Termination

You can stop using LiveCal at any time. We may suspend or limit access if we detect abuse, a security risk, or if our costs become unsustainable. We’ll give reasonable notice unless immediate action is needed for safety.

Liability

LiveCal is free during early access. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to $100, and we’re not responsible for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

As LiveCal grows, we may update these terms. When we make a material change, we’ll update the date above and let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use LiveCal after a change means you accept the updated terms.
