Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-05-24

LiveCal is in early access. By using LiveCal you agree to the terms below. These terms are intentionally brief.

The service

LiveCal helps you put live, self-updating events on your Google Calendar. You authorize us to create, update, and remove calendar events on your behalf for the things you explicitly choose to track.

Your responsibilities

  • Use LiveCal for lawful purposes. Don’t use it to harass, defraud, or surveil anyone.
  • Don’t attempt to bypass authentication, scrape the service at high volume, or reverse-engineer our APIs without permission.
  • You are responsible for the calendar destinations you choose. If you point LiveCal at a shared calendar, the events we write are visible to anyone with that calendar.

Our responsibilities

  • We only write events you have explicitly chosen to track. We do not read your existing events. We do not write events on our own initiative.
  • If you stop tracking an item, we remove the calendar event we created.
  • If you revoke our Google access, we stop pushing immediately.
  • We will tell you about material changes to these terms or to the privacy policy before they take effect.

Accuracy of event data

LiveCal synthesizes event details from public web sources using large language models. Despite our best efforts, event times, locations, prices, and other details can be wrong. Verify high-stakes information (flights, financial transactions, medical appointments) against the publisher’s authoritative source before relying on it. LiveCal is provided as-is, without warranty of accuracy.

Termination

You can stop using LiveCal at any time. We may suspend access if we detect abuse or if our service costs become unsustainable. We will give reasonable notice unless immediate suspension is required for safety.

Liability

LiveCal is free during early access. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to $100. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
