LiveCal is a service that puts live, self-updating events on your calendar. This page describes the personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can remove it. It is written to be readable rather than comprehensive — write to support@livecal.ai with questions.
What we collect
- Your Google account identity. When you sign in, Google shares your email address, name, and profile picture with us. We store these to recognize you across sessions.
- An OAuth token to manage your Google Calendar. We request the
calendarscope. LiveCal writes the events you choose to track onto your primary Google Calendar and keeps them updated; the scope also lets LiveCal create a dedicated “LiveCal” calendar to organize tracked events when that option is enabled. Either way it requires permission to create and manage calendar events on calendars you own. We do not read your existing events, and we do not access your contacts, email, drive, or any other Google service. - The things you ask us to track. The search queries you submit, the events we synthesize from them, and the tracking choices you make.
- An audit log of calendar writes. When we create, update, or remove an event on your calendar, we record what changed and when. This is so you can see what LiveCal did on your behalf.
How we use it
- We use your OAuth token only to create / update / delete calendar events for things you have explicitly chosen to track. We do not read your existing events, scan your calendar for patterns, or write events you have not requested.
- We use your search queries to generate event content via the Anthropic Claude API. Queries are sent to Anthropic under their privacy policy. We do not use queries for advertising or sell them to third parties.
- We do not run analytics tracking, advertising pixels, or third-party scripts on this site.
How to remove your data
- Stop tracking an item — click "Stop tracking" on any tracked event. LiveCal will remove the calendar event it created.
- Disconnect your Google account — sign out from LiveCal, then revoke our app at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once revoked, we cannot push further updates.
- Delete your account — email support@livecal.ai and we will purge your user record, all trackers, and all audit history within 7 days. Events already written to your calendar stay where they are — those are yours.
Google API compliance
LiveCal’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
